The purpose of this website is to provide you with class and school news.

 I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your child to 1st Grade at White City Elementary.  This year will be an exciting year for all students as we work on learning about reading, writing, phonics, mathematics, science, and social studies.

It is my belief that good learning experiences are built on a cooperative effort among parent, child and teacher.  You as a parent play a major role in helping your child reach the maximum of his or her potential.  By working together, I believe we can all help your child become the best person possible socially, emotionally and scholastically.

My expectations for conduct and academic standards are high.  Your participation and encouragement in and out the classroom will be a major contributions to your child's success.

I hope to make your child's first grade year fun and exciting and I hope to instill a love for learning that will last a lifetime.
